Blackland Prairie Elementary School Mrs. Rollans’ Fourth Grade Coding Club finished off their six week after school coding club with an amazing Parent Expo. Students invited their parents to come see the new skills they learned in Scratch. This session, we built on previous knowledge of events and loops and looked at variables and keeping scores in games. We also had some students who were brand new to coding and they dove in and learned the basics along with the more advanced students. The students were so proud of the programs they had created. Mrs. Rollans loves seeing how excited students are to learn about computer science.
