First grade Uses Fish Bone Charts-Now in Google Slides!

Mrs. Fuchs’ first grade was learning how to use a fish bone chart, which shows cause and effects. They were using paper and pencil to fill in their chart and one of her first graders wanted to do it online. She didn’t have an online template, so she told them that they couldn’t do it online. Undeterred, one of her boys decided to simply make one for his class. He drew the basic shape in Google Slides using the Shapes tool and then added in text boxes so the other students could click on them and type. He made enough slides in his presentation that everyone could type on one and shared with the class. I couldn’t be more impressed or proud of how he took the initiative to create a learning tool when he saw the need. Way to go! These are the skills our future is made of.
