Mrs. Tenbush’s Third Graders Challenge Each Other With Geometric Shapes

Mrs. Tenbush’s third graders at Blackland Prairie Elementary played a guessing game where they identified 3D figures where the students paired up in a game to try to identify shapes they had selected. Each student had a computer and chose a three-dimensional shape without telling their partner what it was. The students typed yes/no questions to try and guess their partner’s shape. Students honed their questioning skills as they played multiple rounds and practiced with geometric vocabulary. The whole class had great fun figuring out the mystery shapes.
