Mrs. Tenbush’s class uses Google Slides to Showcase Sensory Language

Mrs. Tenbush’s third grade students at Blackland Prairie used Google Slides to illustrate sensory language in poetry. They chose a poem and typed stanzas in on each slide. They then used text features, such as bold, changing the colors, and highlighting to focus on the language that made them “see the poem in their heads.” They animated parts of the poem that were important to them and finally added pictures that enhanced the experience for them. Way to go using technology to showcase your thinking! This was a great example of using creativity to help communicate.
