Blackland Prairie Elementary School Fifth graders at Blackland Prairie Elementary are learning about the Revolutionary War. They were asked to share their learning in any form that they would like. One group of fifth graders decided they would like to write a news broadcast telling about a few of the events that were happening. They created microphone props and scheduled time with Mrs. Rollans to help with filming. Once the filming was complete, two of the girls became video editors and created the broadcast in IMovie, including turning it into black and white to fit the mood better.
