Blackland Prairie Elementary School Ms. Rice’s fourth-grade students at Blackland Prairie went on a scavenger hunt around the school to find examples of parallel, perpendicular, and intersecting lines. They checked out Ipads from the library and took pictures of the lines as they found them. They marked the images up on the Ipads to showcase their understanding of the mathematical terms before airdropping them to Ms. Rice. The students had a great time finding real examples of the concepts they were learning about and authentically using technology.
