Blackland Prairie Elementary School While November is a short month for schools, our technology integration didn’t slow down at all! Mrs. Rollans worked with over 95% of our students during the month. Eight of our teachers spent an entire day become Google Level 1 Certified Educators. Two of the teachers immediately applied what they learned about Google Forms and co-taught lessons with Mrs. Rollans on creating quizzes using Google Forms. The fourth-graders loved creating the quizzes and can’t wait to use it again next month.
We started our Hour of Code a bit early in kindergarten, where the students turned each other into robots and programmed them. Our second graders used Google slides to decorate turkeys and describe them using adjectives and adverbs. Classes who had read five Bluebonnet books were able to complete a digital breakout in the library with Mrs. Inzana.
We are so proud of all the things our amazing teachers and students accomplished in November. They all deserve a large serving of pie!
