Mr. Bilski’s Fourth Graders Are Studying Animal Adaptations

Mr. Bilski’s fourth-grade students at Blackland Prairie are studying animal adaptations. They were able to explore some of those adaptations up close and personal. Mr. Bilski provided an opportunity for students to see molds of different types of feet, skulls from various birds, and different kinds of fur. The students looked up facts in a variety of books to enhance the lesson. They then recorded their observations. This was an incredible chance to experience a hands-on approach to science, and the students had a great time.
